USB Type C explained

First its a part of USB 3.1. The benefits of USB 3.1 type C is that it is a Charging USB port. It provides more power with which you can charge your computer using the same port and can charge other devices back using the same port. It is robust enough for laptops and tablets. Also slim enough for smartphones offers powers up to 100 watts or 20 volts which is plenty for a notebook and had plenty of benefits on the data transfer speed as compared to USB 3.0. The data transfer speed in the  USB type C devices is up to 10GBPS, up from 5 GBPS from USB 3.0. The data transfer is high enough that you can attach HDMI or VGA in this port with adapters and plug in any way you like, So you don't need to look at the USB port in which way to plug it in.
